This handcrafted ceramic side-handled teapot (kyusu) features an organic, rustic design with a squat, rounded body. The piece is finished in a mottled, mossy olive-green and dark grey glaze, accented by subtle rust-orange flashes along the exposed rims and edges from the firing process.

A thick, hollow ceramic handle extends horizontally from the body, providing an ergonomic grip for pouring. The fitted flat lid sits flush within the recessed rim, topped with a small round knob and a single steam vent hole. The tactile, speckled surface exhibits a slight sheen alongside raw, earthy texture that highlights its traditional artisan craftsmanship.
