Shino Yunomi

This handcrafted ceramic teacup showcases a classic wabi-sabi aesthetic, featuring a low, rounded profile with a gently tapered base. The vessel is covered in a thick, off-white to pale grey crackle glaze, through which underlying charcoal, grey, and subtle terracotta brushstrokes show through, creating an organic, weathered appearance.

The surface displays a fine web of crackle glaze (crazing) with expressive, dark mineral variations and warm, orange-brown iron spots peaking through near the rim and base. Its tactile design includes a pronounced horizontal ridge encircling the upper half, adding structural depth and an inviting grip for tea drinking.
